ENGLISH COUNCIL (E-COUN)

English Council, or E-Coun in short, is a newly born club in Indonesian School of Kuala Lumpur. Formerly we had a similar English Club called ECC (English Conversation Club). You can say that E-Coun is the reincarnation of the ECC. Hopefully with new spirit and fresh performance. Founded on August 14, 2006 E-Coun works to assist the development of English learning in this school outside the classroom of course. E-Coun presents variety of fun and easy events and activities in English so that students can learn English “live” and naturally in use. The events and activities may cover mini-concert (as already performed weeks ago), school radio, bazar, burger charity, talk show, speech on Cross Culture Underdstanding, etc. Those events and activities will mostly be carried out on Wednesday to support the English Day in Indoensian School. However, the major E-Coun’s activity is publishing the English Bulletin Board standing under the fresh and beautiful tree near the park where students can read the articles comfortably. E-Coun also plans to collaborate with Website Team in producing 2 versions (english and Indonesian) of our Web.
Working under the motto "Count On Commitment and Competence", E-Coun is manned by board members consisting of 11 students ranging from Primary 5 to SMA year 3, and 3 teacher-advisors. The board members are as follows:
